If you are suffering from wet coughing in class try medicines that are showing “expectorant.” If water and mucus are flowing, take medicine immediately. If you have a fever and cold along with coughing, consult your doctor.

For dry coughs

Use of medicines that mentions suppressant in its level. This reduces your dry cough. Use cough drops and hard candy to suppress dry coughing. Avoid giving cough drops and hard candy to children.

Use of Antibiotics

Generally, if your coughing lasts for more than seven days, you can take an antibiotic. It is possible that coughing is due to an infection. Consult a doctor before taking an antibiotic.

Coughs due to allergy and asthma

Due to allergy and asthma, you may cough, sneeze, and even both at the same time. If your breadth has a whistling sound, you may have asthma. Consult your doctor as early as possible. 

Smoking Habit

If you have a habit of smoking, a dry cough may happen. Sometimes smoking disturbs your air tracks that may lead to bronchitis. The cancer-like disease may also affect you if you are a regular smoker.
